This flow only appears when Symphony is deployed in a new environment or run locally, with no accounts registered. Regular users don’t go through this — in already configured environments, the initial screen is the login.
What it is
The initial setup covers the first two steps of a new environment: creating the master account (the first admin account of the installation) and registering the first company (tenant). How Symphony detects the step
When you open the platform address, Symphony automatically identifies which step the environment is in:- New environment (no accounts): starts the onboarding flow and master account creation.
- Already configured environment: displays the login screen directly.
Create the master account
When the platform has no accounts yet, it displays a welcome/onboarding screen with a button to get started. Moving forward takes you to the master account creation form.Fill in the Create master account form
- Full name
- Password and Password confirmation (an indicator shows password strength and requirements to meet).
In the master account flow, the Area of expertise, Business Unit (BU), and terms acceptance fields are not requested — they only appear in regular user registration.
Register the first company
With the master account created, the next step is to register the companies (tenants) that will use the platform. Each company will have its own access address, license limit, and login provider (SSO).Companies — registration and management
The complete step-by-step (fields, tabs, and rules) is in the Master Profile.
Best practices
- Keep the master account credentials safe: it has the highest level of access.
- Create a strong password, meeting all the requirements shown by the checker.
Known limitations
- The onboarding/master account flow only appears once, in environments with no accounts.
- Company creation and configuration are exclusive to the Master profile.
